The city of Genk organised a search for ‘the taste of Genk’.

The population of Genk received a call to send in a typical Genk product with potential to market in local hotels and restaurants. Taste and regionality were the criteria by which a professional jury consisting of policymakers, journalists, traders and hoteliers selected the winning design.
